A dynamic Janti QR saved to your account lets you change its destination URL without changing the printed QR image. The code points to a Janti redirect; update the destination from QR history.
How does a dynamic QR code work?
A scan first opens a Janti redirect address, which then sends the visitor to the current destination page. Change the destination in QR history and later scans of the same printed dynamic code go to the updated URL.
Dynamic QR vs. static QR
A static QR stores its target URL in the code itself. If that URL changes, an old print still contains the old address. A dynamic Janti QR stores a redirect address, so its destination can be updated in your account history.
Scan count and account requirements
QR history shows the total redirect requests for a saved dynamic code. It is not a unique-person count. Sign in to a web account to use account history. Deleting the account or redirect record can remove the printed code’s redirect.
When is a dynamic QR useful?
Use one when a menu, campaign, event page, product detail or contact page may change after printing. It can reduce reprint work, but test the code on several phones and confirm its destination before distribution.
